At Hahnemühle, Photo Rag® indicates our much loved100-percent
cotton papers. The new Photo Rag® Ultra Smooth features a particularly
smooth surface with a premium silk-finish coating. It's suitable for both
black-and-white and colour prints. The finest colour nuances and contrasts
are very distinguishable even in the darkest print areas. With a weight
of 305 gsm, the paper has got an appealingly smooth yet substantial feel
to it.
Photo Rag® Baryta combines the advantages
of pure cotton paper with the unequalled appearance of a traditional darkroom
baryta paper. The coating of this glossy, finely structured paper contains
barium sulphate, making for a stunning and unique image. "White but
re-strained at the same time, glossy but not artificial, with a perfect
balance between brilliance and reflection. With these attributes, the
pa-per represents the first choice for prestigious gallery prints,"
says Neil Snape, fashion photographer from Paris. This paper will be appreci-ated
by black-and-white-photography enthusiasts in particular, but it is also
very suitable for luminous colour pictures. The grammage amounts to 315
gsm.
Both new qualities are acid-free and thanks to
their ultimate archival qualities, they are ideal for creating beautiful
images with the high standards of museum-quality prints.
